Greed is a former famous entity, now claimed by Th3P1an1stGam3r.
Appearance
Greed takes form of a dark purple mist with a large, pitch black hole that is its mouth. Thin, sharp teeth are placed in rows inside its mouth.
Behavior
Greed is a mysterious entity. It hints its presence by striking 6 ominous lightning bolts outside a window, emitting a thunderous and loud (although muffled) sound - seeming to come from outside. Greed has an extra 1% spawn rate per 100 gold a player possesses.
After a moment of powerful silence, Greed will rise up from the floor, in the middle of the room. Red, transparent chains similar to the chains that stuns entities inflicted by the Crucifix will emerge and latch onto every player in the room. If any players are behind walls or in any hiding spot, the chains will break through and pull players out of whatever they're hiding in or behind.
The chains will slowly pull all players towards Greed. To resist being pulled into the entity, a small message in a teal color will appear, telling the player to rest their fingers on W and Up Arrow keys. A moment later, the buttons will start to slowly fly over the screen, getting progressively faster after time. The objective is to push the buttons that are shown on screen, while Greed is flashing lights and making all sorts of eerie noises - the entity uses all its overwhelming power to put the player in a state of panic.
If the player fails to pull themselves out of Greed's grip, they will succumb a whopping 85 damage, lose all their gold and a small icon will appear above the player's health bar, similar to the Green Herb's icon. Although the icon does nothing on its own, it's there to represent a curse Greed puts upon its victims. Slowly, the entity will erase parts of your screen - starting from the corners of the screen and working its way towards the middle, leaving pure blackness. This curse is completely uncurable.
Notes
- If a player attempts to Crucify Greed, the entity will launch another red chain at the item and rip it out of the player's hands.
- This is a vague reference to the original Greed's behavior - disguising itself as items and damaging players who pick the items up.
Trivia
